Ichi-Go-Nya

Well, I went to VASE last weekend, the Visual Art Scholastic Event. I participated last year.. but I didn't get anything. :/ So, I wasn't excepting much. BUT. Lo-and-behold, I got gold medals for BOTH of my pieces. AND, I was the only one in my class who got perfect scores for both. I was soo happy. I felt validated. But then again, who wouldn't after having their artwork praised? The judges I had were very nice, and seemed genuinely interested in the thought and work behind my pieces. But enough of me bragging. I know I haven't been posting much on here.. But its not because I'm not making art! There's a lot going on with me right now, school, home life.. And, most of my art is being done IN school, so I don't have the opportunity to get it onto my computer. Hopefully I will be able to take some pictures of the things I've been doing, or scan some of my sketches. But as for serious projects, I don't think many of those will be seen till near the end of school, sadly. I know I don't have many people out there really "watching" for the next thing I make, but for those of you who do like what I do, thank you for being patient. : D And thanks to
